Moorlands Residential Home is a fine grade II listed former farm house built in 1740.

Set in half an acre of lovely landscaped grounds in the centre of Merriott, within easy walking distance of the local amenities including the Post Office and the village store.

Moorlands Residential Home and Drake Nursing Home (based in Plymouth) are owned and managed by Ian and Helena Darbyshire.  They have been providing residential care for over 15 years and have a strong focus on providing a homely, well maintained environment with quality home cooked food and interesting activities.

Whilst moving into a residential home is always a compromise, the team at Moorlands aim to make our residents lives as comfortable and rewarding as possible.
